Vision

Promoting and encouraging sportsmanship in the game of Indoor Soccer -FUTSAL™ in Canada and internationally, providing Canadians with self-confidence and leadership through FUTSAL.™

Mission

Canadian National FUTSAL™ Association (CNFA) is committed to the active promotion of FUTSAL™ for all Canadians and the development of a safe and welcoming environment for all Canadians participating in the sport of Indoor Soccer -FUTSAL™. Through its programs, CNFA aims to promote and encourage sportsmanship in the game of Indoor Soccer -FUTSAL™ in Canada and internationally, providing Canadians with self-confidence and leadership through FUTSAL™.

CNFA is affiliated with Association Mundial de Futbol de Salon -FUTSAL®, the world governing body for Indoor Soccer founded in 1971.

 

CNFA is officially encouraging the sport of Indoor Soccer -FUTSAL™ in all of Canada through the establishment and development of official affiliate associations in the provinces of British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba and Ontario, Quebec, Newfoundland and Labrador, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island and Nova Scotia, and the northern territories.

CNFA launched its inaugural and most significant project at a very high level when its Canadian National Men’s Team became champions in the CONCACFUTSAL in Mexico on December 9, 2018 and qualified for the 2019 FUTSAL® World Cup in Misiones, Argentina.

CNFA is committed to designing and launching a FUTSAL™ program within primary and secondary school curriculums, as well as in universities and colleges as it is in South America. We want to create more community engagement, opportunities for Canadians to unite their diverse communities by making them feel a sense of belonging to their school community.

Objectives

  1. Identify stakeholder and partners who will organize the official affiliate FUTSAL™ association in the provinces of British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba and Ontario, Quebec, Newfoundland and Labrador, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island and Nova Scotia, and the northern territories.

  2. Provide assistance to every affiliate FUTSAL™ association to develop, organize and implement startup and sustaining programs.

  3. Provide financial assistance to every affiliate association in the form of initial subsidies.

  4. Provide structural and administrative structure for participant registration, identification and representation.
